Maxxraxx tow bar cycle racks are genius however as with my cycle maintenance stand they are 'uncomfortable' with the box section top tube of the E-Sommet. My workaround has be to introduce a velcro strap to secure the bike in the v shaped mounts. Any other experiences of bike racks and stands?
Really enjoying the 10 speed E-Sommet at £2999 (if you can get one) spent an additional £250 upgrading to XT group set and XT 4 pot front brake with Ice Tech rotor and tubeless. Now have a bike that exceeds the spec of many £5k bikes. Loving the ride of the E-Sommet has a fantastic grin rating!
Two weeks in to the ownership of a E-Sommet and a couple of all day sessions at Bike Park Wales under my belt and I am loving my first weeks of EMTB riding. Did a lot of poo pooing about e bikes and insisted on riding to the top at BPW. I could manage 3 ascents /descents on my Charge Cooker...
