Thanks for the recommendation. I'm in summer now; I think with some elbow pads I'll be fine. I always have a day pack with water and other stuff so my back is always covered - I know this works from experience . I've never hit ribs etc; just knees, shins (pedals), elbows and hips.
I'm still looking for elbow pads. I've been doing some research. So far what I've found is that soft pads on elbows don't stay in place when they are needed. This seems to be just with elbow pads. Lots of feedback out there from people who have come off, and so far it isn't brand specific (many...
my initial thought was that it could be one of the cells - but 18650's are 3.7v, so no. I don't know much but I think .7v is closer to 1% - .546v would be 1%. Taserface's recommendation of leaving it on the charger for a few hours after reaching full charge sounds good. Apparently the balancing...
OK, did some research and found my answer re passive bms li-Ion battery systems and charging. I don't know how relevant this is to our e bike systems. It does answer my e unicycle question.
I have a shimano system - e8000 with 504wh battery. I was wondering if these use a passive or active bms? Also, does anyone know the best charging routine for a battery pack (made up of 18650 cells) with a passive bms - it's in an e unicycle.
Do you have a need to update? Like ms, google, apple etc etc; all of their updates serve their own purposes. Sometimes they may be needed, not often. Then it's like taking western medicine to fix something - there's also a cost to your health.
That was in Melbourne - I don't live there anymore. Lots of traffic. You're on your own which means do it when you can. You're always on your own anyway - this way you're taking charge of your own safety by avoidance. It's no different to crossing a road with traffic on foot.
I was living in Melbourne for a while, and I quickly learned it was safer to run lights. Well, that was after I got shunted from behind while waiting on the lights to go green. Lights are like the start of a car race in the city - everyone is frustrated and in a hurry to try and get somewhere...
the tires look like they're wrong way round - front is on back, and I'm assuming the other one that looks like a rear is on the front? That's just going by the tread pattern and tread depth.
They've been out of stock for ages. I was on an email alert - they've just come back in. I think this one has a different fork though? I thought they had some version of the zeb fork previously?
