A bike shop said to me that the flow app only works on Android phones? Surely not.

A lot of the big name brands use factories in Taiwan for frames etc, these factories are geared up for production and quality.

After years of deliberation, I got myself a Scott Strike, with the Bosch system (32 kph). Backup isn't well established yet (no flow app yet) I'll be firing off a lot of questions as I need to upgrade the Purion. These bike's kind of add years to one's cycling life.
