Santiago oaks! My local trails

We hit the same trails. Ive been spending a lot of time in Aliso/Laguna and hit oaks about once a week. Im closer to Monroe but havent hit it in while, not sure how its been holding up with this rain. Let me know how it goes and yes, would love to ride sometime.

A Levo for XC trails? I’ve bumped mine up to 170/160 but in its stock form I wouldnt hesitate taking it anywhere.

I may have missed it in this thead but how much do you weigh? Just picked up a cascade link and thinking of getting the RS coil as well. Im 175lbs and thinking about the 500lb spring.

Thats about what I had before and I added a bit more and it made a difference.

Mine is an alloy as well. I did add a spacer under the top cap as suggested by ebikerider above and it seems to have helped, quite a bit. Thanks ebikerider for the tip!

The top cap on my 22 does seem cheap. I swapped it for the top cap from my ripmo last night when I added the spacer. Cant wait to go for a ride to see if the fix was as simple as a spacer. Hoping it is.

Thanks for the input, looks like you had some issues with the stock headset before switching to the Chris King? I did add a spacer last night. Not enough room for a 5mm but enough to where the top cap isnt hitting the steerer tube. I wont have a chance to ride until this weekend so will have to...

Unfortunately thats not it, can reach the correct torque just fine. For whats its worth I keep it in the neutral angle setting, havent tried the 63.5 or 65,5 yet.
