Its a front fender, but works very very well as a rear one.
It doesnt fit because of the extra e-volume in mine. If the float x was just a straight body on the oil resiviour it wouldnt touch.
This is to do with shock design, not frame. There are multiple shocks that wont fit this frame by design.
Yeah it attaches to a metal plate and I dont think youll bend that, if anything I figure you'll wear out a replaceable bushing inside the shock if it really has that much force but because it hinges, I dont think theres much to worry about.
