It doesn’t fit, the shock body touches the frame on compression.

    I’m not using a coil, I’ve got an Ohlins TTX2air m.2

2026 Fox DHX2 is fully compatible and the smaller piggy would give better clearance for a bigger bottle if needed.

    Changing suspension

I did, it’s like a Nardo grey but just a little lighter. I’ve got a friend with a professional spray shop and I thought I’d customise it as I was taking everything off pretty much and it was very cheap (approx $250 USD). I’ve also got 2 riding friends with the silver so it’s nice to not all...

    Changing suspension

@volts oooh it’s nice. First ride, 245psi for 30% sag with the HSC position 1 (soft/open), LSC and REB both as they came from the factory, bang in the middle. A little surprised how well it climbs wide open as it bobs quite a bit peddling on the flat. But the traction was great and no bouncing...

    Changing suspension

Manual said to start at 175psi but I’m 92kg so I knew that wasn’t going to work. I put 250 in which is about 25% without my hip pack, riding shoes and helmet, so I’ll see how it looks when I’ve got those on. I’m going to start at 30% sag and do some clicker bracketing tomorrow and take a shock...

    Changing suspension

I finally got it and installed it. Set my sag roughly (I’ll do it more accurately when I’ve got all my riding gear on tomorrow) but just around my street it feels really nice right out of the box. I found the original Float shock quite linear and clicky (although it wasn’t on the same level as...

    Changing suspension

I'm struggling with the Float a bit but i've got an Ohlins TTX2AIR m.2 on the way. I find I need to run the Float at 35% or more sag to deal with my local trails and the rebound adjustment is quite weak. I'm coming from a Float X Factory on another bike with 165mm travel though, so this little...

    Changing suspension

I'm running a 170mm Fox 38 GripX2 (because I already had one from my previous bike) and it's great. Not sure i'd spend the money if I didn't already have the fork, especially on a lighter bike like the Amflow.

Great work! Keep us updated when you have some ideas of the range

    Bafang M560

Yeah I have to say, as much as I enjoyed my M560, the Avinox system is in a different world on my Amflow. I saw all the hype and I have to say it’s real. Being able to dial in power settings on the bike while out on the trail and the ability to have assistance value ranges is amazing. Bessst was...

    Bafang M560

It’s all marketing noise at this point IMO. My M560 500w had 5 power modes, I almost never used the 5th mode, it was just too much off-road. Occasionally used 4. Similar with my Amflow. They bang on about numbers but I had to dial trail mode down to 650w /90Nm just to use it on the steepest...

Hybridizer Sann Bafang M500 series Aluminum FS

This is the remote not throttle. It’s a different connector to the Bafang controls that I’ve seen, I tried a friends. I was looking at changing to the DK430, which will likely work because it is the same manufacturer (Toplology), but could only find them for bulk order from Chinese supplier...

Hybridizer Sann Bafang M500 series Aluminum FS

That seems like some weird behaviour. Mine always (annoyingly) started at level 3. Sometimes I’d have to pedal backwards a little to get assistance from the start but never had a problem like how you describe.

Here is an exploded image of the linkage. Note there is also a roller bearing I forgot about NA6900.
