I was thinking that if I used the mid setting say 75-80% of the time and eco the rest I could get close to 50 miles and 5k vert(ft), tune it down a little from stock settings. I would buy the MX XT version and setup with some nice wheels like Reserve, mostly trail duty sub 45lbs I'm thinking.

So in the middle "trail" mode the Garmin says 33 miles, I have done 30 miles and 3k climbing by using the trail mode about 80% of the time with eco 20%. I bet if I did a flat ride in trail mode I would get close to the 33 miles shown. I think the power/torque settings in eco mode on mine are...

What kind of power and torque does the motor use in Eco? TBH I would of thought the 580 battery would provide more range in the lowest setting. As an example my Rise w/360 battery says it can do 67 miles in Eco per my Garmin, never verified that tho. I have it setup to provide 20% assist and...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

You could try a socket extender and use Rod's technique to knock em out, I bought the Bearing Pro Tools set and it has extractors that press on to the inner race of the bearing then you tap em out from the other side tool and bearing together. It worked well for those bearings but I had to rig...

By any chance can you check your chainstay as I described above and see if you notice the bushing exposed at all on the inner side of the CS bore? Should be shiny silver

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

That's what I used one with a bend, make sure your fully behind the wedge there's a lip where the bolt head sits against that I thought was the back of the wedge and I couldn't get it to budge but once I got the pick fully behind it it popped out, it was stuck pretty good tho I asked Rod this...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

Got the pivot overhaul completed, new bearings throughout. The Bearing Pro tools are nice altho the bearing removal tools didn't work as advertised on the rear pivots and the bearings in the linkage arms. They clamp on to the inner bearing race and are tapped out bearing/tool together, I...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

I was able to get the c clip removed pretty easily with a metal pick tool. I couldn't get it behind the open section but I managed to pry it behind the clip on the opposite closed side where the clip was more exposed, slipped in a small screwdriver and pop out it came. Still waiting on bearing...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

Same boat, have tried a couple times with a really small flathead, can't get the clip pried away enough to get another one behind it. I need to get a metal pick I guess

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

Got it on the linkage arms, mine has the threaded side for the preload tool on the left non drive side so I will just remove that side and keep the drive side in place. There's no real reason to have the threaded side on the right I'm assuming? On the chainstay protector the very front came...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

Thx Rod, it's the chainstays that hold the bearings. I went ahead and ordered a full bearing kit and the Rise specific tools thru ProBearing tools, it looks like I can use them on other applications and have been meaning to buy a good bearing tool set anyways. The bike is 4 years old and has a...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

Yes I was referring to the o-ring for the axle nut in diagram B, so 13mm x 1mm. Thx for confirming I will order thru Amazon, the axle nut is fine so no need to order thru Orbea, still need to get the c clip out tho. Waiting on bearings and tools to do the job. FYI the bearing on the brake side...

PART # 2: ORBEA RISE - LOWER MAIN LINKAGE AXLE AND BEARING SERVICE

Can someone confirm the rubber o ring size for the brake side axle nut that press fits in the concentric pivot? I'm getting ready to replace all the bearings and was taking the rear pivots apart and the o ring is chewed up on the nut. I saw earlier in this thread is says 16mm ID x 2mm but that...
