Ditto: but things I'd change or upgrade.
1) I would have gone with a size up to XL for a longer reach...6'1" with shorter 30" inseam. The lower standover height esp. 27.5 rear is quite generous allowing for a 200 mm plus dropper.
2) Go UDH now with analog Sram T derailleur.
3) will be getting...
Only trail ride review I've ever seen was recently last Summer '25. Very positive. Looks like the hulking battery is a mismatch to the tiny motor and the integrated display needs upgrading. Also on the positive, new firmware upgrade, they just bumped up the torque from 90 to 105Nm.
Interesting....was that China direct factory that makes the Rogue for Velduro then? But yeah, the tariff (embargo really at this point) is a real dilemma....I'd hoped that if it came from NZ only at 15% tariffs, which they won't ship due to battery costs apparently.
So, I guess $7k gets you a...
Here's the latest US info via my FB account yesterday:
✔️Not shipping to USA, but directly setting up US based distribution for support.
✔️Offering frameset no confirmation on price. I assume their Website price at around $5,100 USD
✔️Probably not sooner than Winter sounds like Spring/Summer.

Interesting the New Trek Fuel + has the upgraded TQ60 with a 580Wh option? Jus' sayn...that's a pretty efficient system too. Yet, it's only 60Nm. So, a 90Nm Maxon with 600Wh should service many, as would likely a 800 Wh for those looking to push longer range rides without carrying the extender.
Yeah, that i know from direct DIY build experience, with 3rd party batteries. It's harder to have 4 anchoring points for 2 separate batteries in a fixed, stable position. This is especially true in a slimmer bottomtube to less easily get that first battery up there in proper mounting position...
Just thinking out loud here.
Would be nice, especially for me as a heavier guy...the 800 Wh for most riding, plus the extender for epic singletrack adventures. I suppose their argument is the battery and motor is so efficient that the 800Wh is unnecessary, yet they offer the big extender. I...
Decent first review. Definitely looks to compete! Look forward to more! Again, 90Nm with 600Wh plus extender works me! Now can I afford a Maxon bike...would like to see more 170+ offerings...maybe USA makers like Intense or Canfield?
Also, Leo thanks for the shakedown ride and scoop on the Maxon.👊
