Gave my old Vitus a run out, feels small after my Mondraker crafty but it still rides surprisingly well and I think I prefer the way the E8000 motor delivers it's power compared to the Bosch

Santa Cruz frames are made in China and Taiwan so not so different from Specialized

I've made a few small changes to my 2025 Crafty . Changed the stem to a 40mm Renthal Apex and cut down the bars . Changed the dropper lever to a ispec Shimano XTR . Swapped the tyres to Magic Mary radial/Tacky Chan combo . Changed the plastic motor cover for a proper alloy bashguard...

Fair enough, I agree that the levers are not great, out of all the brakes i've used over the years other than some old Hope mono minis Magura are the only ones that i've not had any problems with

Did this upgrade on my 2025 Crafty carbon R and it's a relatively cheap and easy upgrade and you can certainly feel a difference between the different settings. LSC
