Chain vs cable for bike security

Nice! I guess cutting the gears/ring would be the easiest path for them there. It mithers me how much free time I end up spending and cash on this issue. Tracking device for this or my motorbike next .... Still it’s worth it for the fun times !

Chain vs cable for bike security

It seems these little fkers have been causing mayhem near us. For last theee weeks the sheds and garages have been pillaged. Police caught two of them. But it seems they were of Irish descent apparently and still the 3am raids persist. I have spotted similar clad folk at 3:30 on my cctv more...

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

All my EMTB activity have led me to learning to ride a motorbike in recent months. I bought a 125 yesterday and have done about 100 miles on it. Love it by the way, but It’s a stepping stone to bigger things ASAP. Took the stilus out tonight as I was so happy riding it to school earlier in the...

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

Off topic: has anyone here used the stilus to ferry kids (5 year old in my case) to school? The bike (medium) doesn’t have much room to attach a seat. My son is tall and heavy for his age. So I’m thinking towing him will probably be more likely. Those drag trailers are likely all sold out...

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

Hi guys, to the people who’s orders were cancelled, I posted at start of this thread this is what happened to me, refund never came, I was quite relaxed it would in time and didn’t check. Then one day the bike came within about 10 days of the cancellation IIRC. Don’t know if that is better or...

Does anyones CX Gen4 make this noise/sensation? (Video)

That noise isn’t something I’ve experienced within over 1k miles on same motor.

    Analog bike

I just bought some commuterish tyres for this carbon on-one 456 I’ve had in garage but been reluctant to sell. I took it out for a spin a few month ago and found it tediously slow, even for a sub 10kg bike. So tried it on some thinner smaller nobbled tyres today. Whilst that did improve things...

7 Stanes and other Scottish trails.

My vote would be glentress and Innerleithen for the double whammy It’s been a long time but I think you could get two full days worth out of those

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

I’m the 5’9” guy I think. 31” inseam if I’m measuring correctly. I’m kind of measuring the inside of arm and shortest method possible to end of wrist and getting 20” or 21” inch max. That reach is shorter than yours and I felt near the maximum. I guess it depends how chuckable you want it to...

Decathlon STILUS Full Suspension Electric Mountain Bike - SRAM SX

Asking for a friend..... ?has anyone using the volspeed3 braved the software update yet? Apparently the volspeed3 made the bike everything it should have been in the first place, obviously offroad on private land... So still on original firmware, 200 miles of riding since install and no issues...

You defo don't want medium. I am 5'9 plus change (depends who the audience is lol) and I would consider a large if I was taller. I am a bit surprised to see ppl saying XL for 5'10 but then again I haven't seen a Large or XL.

    Speedbox 3 for Bosch Gen4

I should mention I have been very careful around water, not ploughing through puddles. The mud you can see is very low speed splashes, it’s generally been kept dry apart from a couple of rides days after heavy rain
