It is definetly possible to make changes remotely. Yesterday I helped @Joecrow to activate the LPP and HPP power ports on his bike. Through a free and easy to setup VPN and USB share service.

I don't want to go into the details yet, as Bosch is probably reading here as well. Prefered method would be to share the bikes USB port remotely and have all the software tools on my computer. I already got it working on the local LAN between 2 PCs, but not over the internet.

I think I might be able to help. If you have a solution like flexihub or net-usb, I will be able to connect to the USB of your bike remotely and do the changes. Also VPN should work.
