I mean, the really striking one to me is that it's using the bolts of your rotor to keep it on, and therefore actually mucking about with your brakes, but worst than that, has only cutout's for three bolts, so not only do you seem to have to halve the number of bolts holding your rotor on, but...

I would really hope that the first time a bike shop gets a hold of them, that there is some sort of digital registration that can flag them as stolen, and the bike shop can contact the police.

Sandy, it's worth remembering that people who haven't had a problem aren't posting that they haven't had a problem. Halfords make fantastic bikes, but their rates of failure (anecdotal, in my experience) are no different to any other major manufacturer, but people don't expect Halfords cheap...
