I followed Rod's excellent tutorial a few years ago. I made a mistake with the dropper cable and had to drop the motor to get it back in. With encouragement from Rod it wasn't that difficult. It sure makes the bike better with the display!

I've had my M10 for one month longer than you and have similar total miles ridden. I ride steep single track in PNW with lots of extended climbing and challenge my battery capacity often. From the beginning, if I don't top up the night before or day of ride I end up with less battery capacity...

Thanks guys! I used a 1.5 mm Allen key to tighten the top 2 bolts as they were loose too. I will check before I purchase but I believe they are counter sunk.

I just got a SC-EM 800 display from a friend who bought it from a guy in Europe on eBay and it says "CHINA" under the SC-EM 800 stamp. Is this normal or is this one I got a Chinese knock off? I thought Shimano does all their manufacturing in Japan?

Ok Dan - but it appears that several Fox standard steel and SLS spring lengths will work - ie 61 mm, 65mm and 67 mm spring lengths work within the Fox specs for their 210x55 shocks (DHX, DHX2 & Bomber CR), and I'm assuming that if the spring is shorter and still fits the shock it might have...
