Is the PW3 and PWX two different motors?
I just brought a 2023 reign I'm guessing its a PWX Motor, has lots of tuning adjustment.
My last bike was a 2022 trance which had more basic tuning but could still adjust power in each level.
Maybe they using a older control system on the Haibike
A bonus with the giants, Trance or Reign all 2023 models on have a 800wh battery which is pretty decent at there price point.
Note: e+3 Trance has 750wh
I'm fortunate to get same discount on both 23 + 24 models, 24 is $1000 more at rrp.
I'm on a super tight budget ,with cost of living and the likes effecting us.
If both models cost the same probley would still go the 23.
Been waiting over 8 months for the reign.
I had a e+1 22 Trance , the...

Hopefully you can see the link ok.
All the 2024 have 11spd drive trains.
Also my XL came with a 200mm Dropper 👍 think that's new from giant.
Only just seen your post.
2023 Reign e+2 IN XL finally arrived after 8+ months waiting.
Reused 160mm cranks from previous bike, 32mm raceface stem.
Come with 200mm Dropper which was a nice bonus.
Still to fit 220 hs2 rotor and carbon bars
My next bike hopefully well be a Reign e+2 if they ever get here.
Mainly because its a decent price point for spec here in NZ.
Wont be changing much as funds are pretty tight.
Actually doesn't make a huge, my previous bike had a speed box, I used it to commute to work(16km each way) yes if you rode everywhere in turbo you well monster the battery, quote often would have a slite tail wind you could cruise along a 35-38kph in eco or tour mode and not use much battery...
I run the HS2 220 , found them to be OK, one didn't bed that well ,used 2nd hand pads.
Not many option for center-lock in 220mm.
System weight just over 140kg(rider + bike)
On a previous e-bike I tried a 223 (2mm) galfer with new finned metal pads, was a nightmare, didn't want to bed ...
hoping they bring the e+1 to NZ, i'd pretty much buy that tomorrow if it was about $10500nzd
i dont care about the colour, I'd put my xt brakes on, the rest would be fine.
