    Best carbon wheel for rise

Nobl wheels, they’ll hit your weight mark and they’re on the better end for competitive pricing.

Bullit S kit owners pls help

I have no complaints with mine, aside from brakes. Code R’s are garbage, immediately swapped them for slx, been performing great. Mine had a Fox transfer on it but it was 150 so I swapped it for a oneup 180 dropper. I have no problem with functionality just wanted a longer dropper. Personally I...

For what it’s worth people who are still curious about sizing, a buddy just picked up a medium and I was able to hop on it, def feels med, I would 100% go large. I’m 5’10 pretty much always ride large, currently on a large sc bullit.

What will be your next emtb? Lightweight or full fat?

Just went back to a full fat, the problem with the majority of lightweights is they’re primarily geared as a trail bike. Companies need to put out more enduro/aggressive lightweight bikes, the transition relay looks about right! But who knows when that will actually hit the market ..

Looking for some user experiences with brakes..

No experience with maguras, I’ve head good things but xt’s eliminated all the above problems for me!

    RS Lyriks for ebikes

+1 for lyrik, I have one on my rise, no issues runs great. I’d probably go 2-4 more psi than a regular bike, it’s pretty easy to dial in quickly. Mines at 160 and I believe 1 token

Looking for some user experiences with brakes..

The code r is particularly annoying, every few rides I would have to reset the pistons to get a decent lever feel back. Sram uses 2 different pressures one in the hose/caliper and a second in the master cylinder, eventually they equilibrate and need to be reset. That gives the weak bite. Shimano...

Looking for some user experiences with brakes..

+1 for shimano by far my brake of choice, I tend to prefer xt but I find minimal if any difference between slx and deore. Definitely a good bleed mitigates the wandering bite point, and I’ve never had the brake not grab, it may just grab a little closer to the bar. I’ve had/used sram guide...

Really curious to hear more of your thoughts on the sizing, it sounds like you normally ride a large? I do too and the sizing has me thinking a medium would be better, anymore feedback would be appreciated!

Was really looking forward to this review Rob! I have the rise and just haven’t got along with it, it’s a great bike I just don’t get in with the suspension platform. Been really wanting a lightweight that is a solid all mtn/enduro

Urge to buy a non ebike !!! Am I crazy anyone still regularly use a non ebike

I get the impression most people here stick to pretty much E-bikes exclusively. Maybe that’s just down to a lot of people in Europe where ebikes aren’t such a taboo. In America it’s a bit different, you see them a lot but still get leering looks and snarky comments all the time! Personally I...

Orbea Rise M10 and Ride Wrap protection

Wrapped mine a week or so ago, I removed that piece. Like kamill said it’s basically the same thing you’re putting back on. If you want extra protection there put something like ams frame guards overtop the ridewrap.

    Orbea Rise range experiences

I’ve got a m20 and find the range pretty much the same that I got on a full fat heckler. I ride exclusively in profile 2 eco set to ~35-40ish nm assist 4, trail and boost at 60nm with assist at 5 and 10. I’m about 160-165 kitted Just did a pretty big ride the other day, 20miles, 4700ft of...

    Actual Rise Weights??

I have a large m20, stock was 42lbs with tubes and pedals. I have it setup with a coil and exo Assegai up front, moved the dissector to the rear, nobl wheels, lyrik up front, it’s just under 42lb with pedals. A buddy just got a medium h15, stock with pedals was 47lbs, he upgraded to xt brakes...

Is it just me or is the seat tube oddly long on the Rise?

Here’s a great comparison from enduro mag that compares stack heights of some popular droppers, helped me figure out how to maximize the drop I could get!
