How much stanchion should be exposed on a Fox 38 180mm travel fork?
I measured my Fox 38 exposed stanchion length at exactly 180mm which doesn't sound right, as I'd heard it should be longer... maybe 185mm - 190mm for a 180mm travel fork?
Does the stock 27.5 front fork work with a 29" wheel/tire? What would be the widest 29 tire that would fit?
Also another question... is a 15x110mm QR hub different from a 15x110mm Thru-Axle hub? I tried fitting a Specialized Levo front wheel onto my Giant and it seems the hub is...
I can't connect to my bike after the update on IOS...
When I connect, I get "CONTACT DEALER" and hitting "OK" just closes the app. Tried a bunch of times, including remove bike from app and re-searching. Once it connects, "CONTACT DEALER"...and closes.
Anyone experience this?
Thank you!
Sam
I put a Spank Spike 50mm riser bar on mine (with new 31.8mm diameter stem 35mm length) and the height feels perfect now. I think a 29er up front with the stock handlebars would work nicely. Who makes a 180mm travel 29er fork?
For me its a trade-off. I can't manual this bike yet and it does feel sluggish through turns, but I enjoy the plush ride and straight line stability that the longer CS and Longer wheelbase provides. An ideal eBike would be one where CS and even head-tube angle are adjustable. On-the-fly...
Thanks everyone, I ordered an inexpensive 35mm riser bar with 31.8mm clamp and cheap short stem 35mm long to see if that helps with both the low bars and heavy front. At least I know manual is doable somehow. ?
I have not... but I've only had the bike like 2 weeks LOL. Do you charge on the bike or take out the battery and charge it by itself? I usually charge the battery by itself off the bike...
