I know there’s a guy named mastercut on here who has a 2021 power SX with V4’s, must be a slightly different frame design though.
Anyone have experience installing Hope Tech 3 V4’s on the essential model? I’m having issues with the rear caliper not fitting because it’s hitting the seat stay too early.
I currently have the standard shimano center lock rotor (203mm) and the 40mm post mount.
Am I being an idiot and missing...
Im also thinking of installing hopes on my essential. The SLX brakes feel lackluster and prone to heat fade.
Did you go E4 or V4? How did the install go? I’d be stupid to keep the shimano 203 mm rotors right? After looking around, if I ordered brakes today it would be 5 weeks til I get em..
First E-Bike here, although I have ridden a trek rail 7 a good amount.
This thing felt as good or better than expected (except the brakes).
Motor is very quiet and smooth, didn’t notice a rattle (yet).
And I’m in love with the green.
