sounds extreme going from a 550-700lb coil at 95kg ? im 6.3 and 105kg and find the 550 perfect with added pre load a good set up. Dont forget how progressive the rear stroke is, its why the coil works so well with the trance!!

Update I have done 1000+ k's now on the DT240 without issues.

If Giant NZ are now replacing hubs with the dt 350's at no cost , ill be expecting a check in the mail

New hub is holding up great !! Already done 300+ k on it. Maybe ill see ya at Te miro sometime! Its my local.

The Giant saddles are terrible. I use a charge spoon probably the best rated saddle around for the money !!

Its not an issue with the hub paws so i have been told but an aluminium shim in the hub assemble that is being crushed due to the increased power output. This then causes the paws to miss align and fail. I couldn't be bothered waiting 3-4 weeks for parts (Giant hub) and wanted a louder hub...

Can confirm that my hub exploded too. Giant NZ and Evo cycles helping me out with a replacement\ upgrade to DT350 Hybrid Picking it up tomorrow!!

Light is a Gemini Titan Titan 4000 Lumens Very good light !! On full power it is ridiculous perfect for fast past night riding! I also have 2000 lumen helmet mounted light

My last bike came with Maxxis High Roller II's and had been sitting flat in the box which caused a major deformation. I just contacted Maxxis and they sent me a new tire. Is the tire seated on the rim properly? New tire or used ?
