Interesting. Well, here is my Vala (carbon) story. I bought it brand new. On ride 1 I noticed play on the motor and a creaking sound when pedaling. I took it to my LBS which is a Bosch certified location and they called Bosch and Santa Cruz. They both said that a flex was needed to help...

Interesting. I got them from Santa Cruz at no cost. Response very quick. And got them in a week or less. In Gilbert AZ. I was very frustrated with the bike too to be honest. Luckily we got sorted out. I hope that helps.

Happy Monday I did get a set of those latest bolts and plastic sleeves and ended up installing the new version bolts to my existing bushings that seemed ok. And problems solved. No more play and no more creaking sounds. My vala is happy now and I have been riding hard.

I am in the same boat! And no info anywhere! I guess I will have to try and see if it works. I am running 12 SPD SRAM boost and just ordered a chainring with 55 mm offset from SRAM. I will see if it works with my chain line! I will update once installed.

Yes! That was my problem! I fixed the sound by laying the bike on the drivetrain side and put a few drops of chain lube on the heads of the bolts and bushings and left it like that over night so it will kinda soak the contact points and fixed the sound. However, the issue is that, in my case...
