So my levo finally went in to have the TCU cable replaced yesterday. That didn't solve the problem or replacing the TCU itself. They then replaced the battery thinking it maybe the controller in the unit as it's not waking up. It's worked so far and they will let me know tomorrow if it wakes...

I think I will do this once the cable is replaced, will the liquid gasket give to remove the TCU when needed, then re seal? I've not used it before.

That's good to know, it's booked in for the cable replacement but they can't do it until the 24th of April. So will have to keep unplugging it until then.

Agreed the most important thing to protect is the motor, and the stock protection isn't enough if your riding terrain where it may get frequently bashed.

I think the other holes are just drainage holes. Id be interested to know how it performa as this is the one I've been thinking of ordering but in anodised black .

I have been looking at getting a bash guard for my gen 3 levo. Can you tell me. Is it worth getting one? What's the difference between the ones with holes and full plate? What is best colour silver or black?

I only got one new chain X01 which I'm ok with, but based on the posts on this thread seems most people run two. Using your old chain is perfectly fine once it's been fully cleaned. You could even warm the wax in the bag rather than slow cooker to cut costs just until you have tried it out.
