You can see the pawls move when you turn the freehub and they engage the ratchet ring. If you cant see that, I think you're bloody blind😉

I've mailed Hope but I haven't got a reply yet. When I installed the freehub and turned it you can see the pawls engage. You can see it when the seal is not on it.

No, only the wheels. But that doesn't affect the geometry.

For me the head angle is at a sweet spot. Slack enough for steep descends & steep enough for agile handling.
