All Turbo all the time... with exception. I modified my Trail setting to be just like Turbo except 80% power. I like to call Trail "Old Turbo" since the Specialized update months ago added 22% more power. I really only use Trail if i need the range (very rare); or when I'm behind analog riders.
Imagine someone in a bike shop considering two similarly priced and equipped bikes, except one has more power. Not many are picking less powerful option; especially the less experienced and knowledgeable consumer. It’s that simple.
I think we can come up with more things that Atherton brings to the table. For example, isn’t the Atherton less expensive? Some (not me) might even prefer an alloy frame. Also, unlike Orbea’s RS M2S; we know there’s little issue making Atherton’s M2S 28 mph capable if desired. Some people might...
Im not exactly sure when it happened tbh. I just started to notice the rear end and BB hanging low while riding. It won’t rebound all the way so it was riding squatted down; and had maybe half travel.
Blew my Fox Genie again today. It’s surprising because I’m not a super hard rider. @SP SUSPENSION mentioned it’s possible I have a bad shock the last time I had it in. Starting to feel like I do. Doesn’t top out now even after deflating and re-inflating. Booooooo 👎🏻
Something completely different on today’s ride… Rain! Nothing like the smell of desert rain. About as grippy as it gets. Little rutted but nothing too severe.
This is debated because a helmet mounted light will deceptively flatten the terrain; while a bar light will as you imply, mostly provide light where your wheel is pointed.
The other factors... like output and battery life significantly favors the bar light. That is why I advise the bar light...
I'm operating under the belief that there's near zero Crestline owners that would be so inexperienced that they would clamp their frame. I'm willing to suspend disbelief on that, but then I'd also have to suspend disbelief that the bike owner would openly admit to doing that during a warranty...
Are you suggesting forum members should only comment on the bike(s) we currently own? I've commented in this forum that I would already own a Crestline if I could buy one; and I was ready to buy a Wild LT until I confirmed Orbea neutered their Avinox, but isn't that irrelevant anyway?
The whole...
Just watched the video. Not covering this under warranty is ludicrous and very concerning. I'd be pissed. Seems obvious the frame was defective because it shouldn't break on such a minor impact. Makes me think hard now before buying a Crestline.
Stress reveals character. Disappointing to learn...
