One of the riders in my group has one of these and its the heaviest bike by far. She can barely pick it up off the ground.
But ebikes (with current technology) are never a good match with roofracks - better with a tow bar rack.
I own a Buzzrack e-Scorpion XL and it happily takes my Amflow and my GF's Canyon emtb with ease.

In the UK at least, if something is shown to be not fit for purpose and/or last a reasonable length of time then the Consumer Rights Act 2015 would trump any warranty wording.

What they perhaps are are factory backdoors - perhaps a batch was rejected by Amflow for quality issues, but instead of being destroyed they found their way to the market via Alibaba.

Same. Washing up liquid is a great degreaser. Hot water and Fairy Liquid gets your bike shining. I then rinse off with the hose, and wipe down with a towel.

I know many people with Bosch and Shimano motors - the very first thing absolutely every single one of them did was take it to the other shop up the road that allowed the 'chipping' to remove the limiter!

That Shimano motor won't be helping things. I know someone who's on their THIRD warranty replacement. Which, to their credit, Canyon/Shimano have replaced without fuss each time. But yeah, damn.
