I'd never touch a Haibike again. Yes it was reliable for 2000 miles, but customer service & warranty over a wheel rim was appalling. It made it hard to sell too.

My experience- 2000 miles on Haibike/yamaha pwx2 and 800 on the Fulgur/polini motor. Both no rattles. Yam feels" torque -ier" but a bit jerky on steep restarts. Polini cuts of on freewheels so smoothly & pedals past the 16mph cut off with minimal friction. The Yam hits a wall of friction at cut...

Yep, new chain often grumbles & grinds a bit until it runs in to fit worn sproz. I was getting about 700 miles per chain on the 2000 mile cassette. Ridden in Sussex mud, but proper boil in wax lubing. Used YBN chains ..

If it jumps on the small sprockets - you can buy these separately. I did this a while ago & it revived a 2000 mile cassette...
