I see Spectral:On webpage on the Canyon site has been revamped. Encouragingly it names 900W battery

Intrigued on the proposal. What Ozone08 said makes sense. Uproar will be if needs thicker casing and the 900W battery then becomes 700W or something. The fact cards are being played close to chest leaves this potential open.

My iPad has a setting to prolong battery heath to max charge to 80%. Presumably applicable to EMTB batteries too - if you dont mind missing the 20% charge in your ride!

I suspect only a minority of people on here would buy a 2nd hand emtb - at least when didn’t know the owner.
