So for me, I'd go short travel trail, or full suspension XC.
Nah, you can resolve that yourself. Plenty of info on the internet and YouTube if you're not mechanically minded. It's quite trivial, not like the internals of a newly released $1K+ motor that is sealed for warranty.

The videos certainly might make the sound more pronounced. They also might make the sound less pronounced. Just depends on the mic used, where it is, what else it's picking up, etc
I sometimes wonder if we've lost our way to. When going from 120nm to 150nm and 1000w to 1500w is so much more important that having it NOT rattle like an empty paint can...
Weird you got any rattle at all on a Gen 5, never have myself. It has a mechanism to completely decouple, designed specifically so there is NO rattle at all. Sounds like that was a faulty unit, or something else on the bike.
