Spoke to my LBS, they charge £120 to strip and rebuild and I know of two places charging £350 to paint it properly. Total £470 GBP Euros 563. Alot less than even Euros 1000!

£500 all in is what it should cost you realistically. 1hr to strip the components and 2hrs to rebuild = approx £150 labour. Leaving £350 to sand a paint! Unless you're going for some sort of extreme air brush paint job!
