    I want a smaller battery!

The only reason I'd want smaller is so I can fly with the emtb. Take a couple of separate smaller batteries on a trip.

Terrible weather protection on motor ?

Keep them greased periodically with a water proof grease and they'll be right. They are designed for all weather, washing etc. Just make sure your grease is a carbon safe grease.

Ebike weight - does it make a difference ?

Small weight savings eg lighter wheels or xtr over xt drivetrain may not be worth it, and carbon rims in my opinion (for my riding) is just something expensive to damage. A carbon frame over alloy frame can make a big difference, I noticed that on a demo, but it comes down to how yo uride. If...

Terrible weather protection on motor ?

The area may also be there to serve as air vents and keep the motor cool too, so be careful what you do.

    Hitch mount emtb rack

I really wanted the Kuat, but from what I can see, it wont work around the fenders I have on the bike. They are not overly huge ones, but they will get in the way of the clamp point on the front wheel I believe. And even on other bike, the basic ones on those.... Which is a shame.. I was only...

    Hitch mount emtb rack

I've noticed this doesn't have any lighting or numberplate mounting - What have you done regarding lighting and numberplate? Do you find lights are unobscured enough? How are you mounting a numberplate?

    2021 e-one bikes coming out... New E160 300S

There's no e140 or e160 stock left in Australia aside from what may be in a few LBS sitting as unsold floor stock. I had to chase all around the country to find an e160, and it was shipped from WA to ACT for me. You are pretty well out of luck on most 2020 stock as everybody went out and bought...

    Which Brand of Pads?

I always buy them with other products I need and get the free shipping. Order some shoes or tyres or a chain etc. Sometimes need a new set of Grips too.

    Pulling analog riders

My opinion is it depends how much you weigh, and also making sure the other rider pedals to help still. Also depends how steep the hill and what mode. In general, I believe it should be fine. Mainly it'll flatten your battery sooner.

    Hitch mount emtb rack

A potential problem I'm trying to find the solution for. If I'm running a mudhugger front mud guard, will the mudguard get in the way of these wheel clamp style racks like the Holdup or Kuat NV2.0 or Thule T2 Pro XT? I'd prefer to avoid frame mount, and I want to make sure whatever rack I get is...

Protecting the motor from water when Decoy is on car bike rack

I trust how well the motors are sealed, they are made that way for a reason, and on the back it wont get anything more than you'd get riding.. Even on the roof I don't think the motor would get exposed that badly. One big recommendation is to always remove the battery when transporting. Many...

With more tokens, you can run lower pressure to get the same sag, or even lower again to get more sag, and not bottom out.. Removing tokens means you need more pressure to get the same sag, and more again it you are bottoming it out.... Sounds like what was done is the reverse of the goal that...
