Thanks, yes I finally found a review about the introduction of the new e8035-L and e8036 that states they are a bit longer and cannot retro fit to older e8035 fitted bikes. Grrr...

Thanks! The info on the Shimano site is kinda vague. Says it uses the same mount but nothing else (at least what I could find).

Does it come with the charger? Anybody know if this battery will work in place of the e8035 battery in a e7000 equipped bike?

My first EMTB Home made kickstand bracket for a Giant stand. I know, kickstands aren't cool but this is working pretty good so far, can't tell it's back there even on really rough ground. I'm old so no big drops for me and I like having the stand.

Thanks Sparked. I saw your post about your bike coming loose from the Thule Easyfold XT rack. Very scary! We bought one of those when we picked up my partners Giant but as soon as we tried to load the bike I wasn't happy with the clamp system Thule uses on that rack. No way to get a secure grip...
