Did you get anywhere with this? I also seem to have a similar problem but it sounds closer to the head tube. May be the stupid cable routing. I absolutely love the bike but christ is the rattle annoying. A quiet bike is a faster bike right?

The rubber grommets seem readily available to buy from plenty of places online. But I can't find any blank ones. Gap in the market there.

I didn't. Just stuck the rubber back in and settled with it. I suppose you could use some black sealant or something on it?

So. I messed up trying to shorten the dropper cable. I was going to anyways...but I got myself a wireless dropper instead of faffing on with the absolute nightmare that internal routing is... Magura, for the price point and I'm more than happy with it! Treat myself to a new saddle too. Behold...
