I can barley feel the upgrade to 120nm. On trails the motor is great (Santa Cruz Bullit) . Riding the streets to get to a trail is where the Bosch motor under performs to the Avinox. My buddies Avinox gives free raw power. Once on the trail, both are good. Easy winner here. My vote is for Bosch...
So 2 rides with new Bullit. I'm impressed with the 600w battery. 56yo 205lbs, 6'3" riding up to ride down chunky trails with limited flow. Steep downhills, the bike rips, I have noticed I slide into the corners with continued speed - YIKES!
Ride 1 - 3681' total elevation gain @ 13.08miles...
So I am a new Bullit owner! I am 205lbs, 6'3" and ride an XL, first ride I did 3608' elevation and 13.3miles toggling all of the power modes and when I finished the ride I had 29% battery remaining.
Have you had more time on this bike? What are your thoughts over more time? I'm so interested in this Emtb or the Orbea Wild? Other than the BB height, they seem about the same geo? I have only test rode a mullet and ride a 29er, but a little concerned to be locked in to a mullet, thoughts...
Wow, those are incredible #'s for everything. Can you let us know what size is your sick bike, and your height and weight please?
B.E. review reports he is roughly 200lbs and only got 3,300ft on a full charge on his Bullit
That's a good day of riding! If I need more I'd be down for the extender
How does everyone feel about the new motor update and the drain on the 600w battery on this Bullit?
Thx again
Thank you!! This is a good day of riding and if the range extender - plenty! Last question for you. I ride a 29er at 6'3", how is the mullet? is it noticeably different? I've never ridden a mullet
Personally Im down for the new battery at 600w and put an extender on to get the 850. But that's me, so many nice bikes. The 2025 Orbea Wild looks fantastic also @ 750w but I also heard bikes with 750w are the older battery tech.
Thanks for the data! Any updates on further riding/range? Over the weekend I rode my 2020 Turbo Levo total ascent of 4,419ft and 14 miles and my 750w Levo red barred. If the efficiency is the same or slightly better that's great as this was a solid day of riding.
