Aurora watch UK

Just about to go to bed last night when an alarm on phone went off. Checked and it appeared that a very high chance of viewing the Aurora from anywhere in the UK. So stepped out and took following shots with phone. Only lasted 15 mins and only 2nd time I have experienced them here in South Wales

How long before someone comes up with a 2 (or more) stage post like they use for certain hydraulic cylinders? Frames could get away with much shorter posts and still be able to run silly long droppers ;-)
