Answer on the battery is yes. I'm about to order a 700wh- My LBS looked into it for me and its the same battery for aluminium and carbon frames. In the 2 weeks since owning my comp I realise I'm going to cover a lot more miles than on my old bike!
Same here funnily enough. Gave it one decent outing on the Specialized saddle, but had a sore arse after so got a wtb one, which is much more comfortable, especially as I'm now riding 3 times as much as I used to!

Yeah it seems to be pretty rare. I didn't like the colour on the Specialized website as it looks too "baby blue". I went in to the shop expecting to like the dark battleship blue, but when I saw this on display I loved it.
