That’s why you put a spare magnet on your bike or tool kit. Simply slap it on the rotor near where it gets sensed by the sensor and that will get you back. I’ve ridden in muddy conditions and the LSS stays clean anyway. No worries.

LSS review: I was the original O-ring mod and have 50 miles on my LSS. Working perfect. Being able to get assistance at 25+ mph is awesome. Thanks JD. I hope you make some money on this.

I’ve put in a few miles with the LSS. There is one place on my ride where the “governor “ kicks in and stalls the motor. I did not notice any let off of the motor with the LSS. Now we will see how long it lasts. Great work!!!!!

So here is my tweek: I had one to many o-rings. I put enough o-rings on the hub so that when I put the sun gear over an o-ring the o-ring that the sun gear was on wouldn’t push in on the hub. Also I found it MUCH easier to put the initial o-rings on the hub until flush with the ring gear, then I...

My o-ring fix isn’t that trick. In fact I may try and modify it due to the sun gear not sitting flush. Hopefully new part options will be available for different diameter hubs.
