    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Last Sunday I tested the race route of the Gorrick Torq 3-6-9 XC Endurance race which will be at Minley this coming Sunday 10th May. Minley has been the subject of some quite destructive forestry work and the Gorrick team have had a lot of work to do to sort out the route. I rode with Peter from...

    Bosch Flow 1.34 features

Thank you so much. I can see it now you've told me. It wasn't a big deal as I record my rides primarily on my Garmin Explore 2 and have both the Garmin and Flow connected to Strava. But I wanted to fix this long awaited "fix" from Bosch. Anyway, again, thanks a lot.

Can you tell where that is please.

    Bosch Flow 1.34 features

I'm on Flow 1.34.7 (1131) and using a Kiox 300. As always, the Kiox pairs successfully with my chest HRM and displays my HR whilst riding. At the end of the ride there is no recorded HR visible in Flow, and therefore not uploaded to Strava. I've just opened a ticket with Bosch...... but since...

Continuing with my discovery of "Gravel" I've done a bit more exploring of the Swinley Forest area and this time concentrated more on actual gravel and fire roads rather than the official Swinley trails I've been doing recently. I used Komoot to help me. Great fun in lovely weather.

I thought I'd put the new(ish) Specialized Creo 2 Comp gravel bike on some singletrack. It was good fun and made for an enjoyable ride. No hiccups but a foot down on one of the berms that was very dry and loose.

Whats the best action camera 📷

My two penneth... I've had a few Gopros in the past, the last being the GP8. I was generally happy with it but got fed up with it suddenly freezing (usually at the worst time) and having to pull the battery to unfreeze it. I've now had my DJI Action 4 for a year or so. Really happy with the...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

A bit repetitive perhaps but having had a few more days on the Creo 2 Comp I went back to Swinley Forest to see how it (and me) went on doing all of the Blue trails. I started on Blue 9 and rode to the last trail, Blue 13. Then from Blue 1 to Blue 8 to complete the Blues. I couldn't do Blue 7 as...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

I'm coming around to the same way of thinking. I do have to overcome this thing with me having to work hard to look far enough ahead on steep downhills due to my neck being a bit stiffish. I've been riding with my mtb helmet (Troy Lee) and it's peak which sort of restricts my view. I think...

Another vote for the Stuntman Chest Mount. I've had mine for a few years now and massively better than the GP Chesty.

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

I think that's fair comment. If you're on something pretty "bumpy" and you decide to move from hoods to drops you need to plan a bit in advance especially if you're looking to activate the dropper post. Although once you've got used to it more I think it will become more intuitive. By "you've"...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

Following on from a post a few days ago and the question of riding on the drops on a gravel bike I went out today to see whether riding on the drops on the trails would work for me. Anyway, I'd basically say, Yes... it felt fine, the hardest bit for me in doing this is that it put a strain my...

Exactly! I can't see me doing any significant drops ins on the drops.... I've got the feeling it wouldn't allow me to get my weight back enough  o_O:eek:

LOL.... I fixed the howling brakes this morning. Funny conditions yesterday... very wet everywhere, even on the bits that look dry(ish) there was underlying water. Usually I'm pretty easy on brake pads but took it fairly cautiously yesterday trying to get used to the bike. And the drops, no...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

I'm never sure what the deal is with gravel bikes and posting here, but I'll chance my arm it is OK? A few days ago I bought a Specialized Creo 2 Comp as some e-gravel rather appealed to me with my previous background (pre-mtb) as a roadie. I've pottered around sorting out the apps and...
