I’ve figured it out, so they supplied a 2 pin plug for the charger, I stuck it in my uk to euro adaptor plug, and no sign of life. Then realised it was a 1 amp fuse in the plug so just nipped to B&Q and bought a charger cable with a uk plug fitted With a 3 amp fuse.
Works a treat now and...
Ok I’ll try that but does the prion screen show a charging symbol when the battery is installed in the bike do you know?
Taken the battery out and stuck it on charge again, not seeing any of the green lights blink tbh.
Starting to suspect I’ve got a duff charger?
I got a euro 2 point plug supplied with mine, I’ve used a uk shaver plug adapter and I’m not seeing any green lights blink on or off on mine, it’s been charging for a good 90 mins and it’s still stuck on 2 bars on the purion display? I’ve also taken the battery out and pressed the button to wake...
Just taken delivery of my Trek Rail 5 Deore, its come with a Bosch charger which has a euro 2 point plug so I’ve stuck that into an adaptor I had. The display shows two bold bars on the battery but my question is, when charging do you get a charging symbol or a green light on the battery or...
Perfect thread to find, i've just placed an order for the same Whyte bike but after doing some research and a few hundred pounds more i'm going to change my order for the Trek Rail 5 Deore as there are so many people saying the same things about the rear wheels on trails. Also came across...
I have a T-Roc R, not the biggest boot tbh even with the seats down, it’s the first bike I’ve had where it doesn’t have quick release wheels, may be I just have to take the wheel off and take an Allen key with me.
I’ll know for sure next week when the pedals turn up and I get out on it.
Problem I have is I have a lease car which goes back next year so really don’t really want to fit a tow at to it but I may have to to and then just buy a rack that’s going to fit the bar.
Agreed I used to always buy local years ago, but my local stores don’t carry much Cube stock atm and the discount was substantial.
Yep keyworker discount, first time I’ve heard of it tbh.
Is there any good (cheapish universal) bike racks our there for the Cube E-Bikes?
I'm guessing a Saris Bones system just won't cut the mustard on one of those haha...
It was the Dyson that swung the deal, yep I actually prefer the darker colours, its not like I'm using it to commute to and from work tbs.
Oh I'll be on the rides come next year mate, be good to get fresh air again and remember the times of blowing out of my backside after doing a 1% gradient...
And here is the bike in question:
First MTB I’ve bought in 9 years, the weight is surprising, dropper posts is a great idea and just charging it up now.
Bloody forgot to order pedals so just ordered some now for the bike.
Have to say a massive thanks to LeisureWheels who actually had a Cube...
