    Bosch CX Gen 5 rattle

My gen 5 has been totally silent on downhills (I’ve got a transition Regulator). Could be a number of non-motor related things like cables rattling inside the frame or a loose headset.

    Maven/Dominion/V4

I’ll second the TRP Pro recommendation. I’ve had or used Codes, XTs and Dominions and the TRPs are my favorite brakes so far. Light lever feel like a Dominion but slightly more power and better modulation. More power than an XT and no wandering bite point. More power than both of my bikes with...

    2025 Norco Sight VLT CX

Question for you vlt cx owners: how does the fork feel? Stiff enough? Would you prefer a 38 or zeb?

    Santa Cruz Vala

Because if he didn’t set it up wrong to begin with he wouldn’t have any material for his vid.

    2025 Norco Sight VLT CX

I’m curious what sizes you guys are getting. Norco’s reach numbers are crazy long. I’m 5’11” and Norco recommends a reach of almost 500mm. Im used to 475 or 480.

So ... any rumors on when CX Gen 5 Pivot Shuttle AM will come out?

You can add the Transition Regulator CX to that list. It's basically a Vala for folks who prefer cable actuated shifting.

    Santa Cruz Vala

Somehow I'm not surprised that you don't know what a Geometron is. It may shock you to learn that Canyon also makes non EEBs. A large meat powered Strive has an adjustable reach of 500-510. So no, the large reach has zero to do with trying to make a giant battery removable.

    Santa Cruz Vala

Vala reach numbers are actually pretty conservative. A large Canyon Strive:on is 500mm. A size 4 (aka large) Norco Sight VLT is 497. The trend for sizing up is over because bike manufacturers have slowly inched their way closer to the reach numbers pushed by Geometron for years (large=500mm).

Levo Gen 4 Levo Gen 4 Rumours and some facts...

    There's no way you're getting a 1000wh battery on a bike under 50 lbs.

    2026 Santa Cruz Bullit

Yes, because the latest Bosch motor is a more refined climber than the old Shimano motor and doesn’t rattle like a bucket of bolts on the DH.

    2025 Norco Sight VLT CX

    It's an 800wh. https://www.norco.com/bikes/e-mountain/e-all-mountain/sight-vlt-cx/25-sight-vlt-cx-c1/

    2025 Norco Sight VLT CX

Prices and specs are up on the US site. 3 models: $6699, $7999 and $9999. in terms of spec, it looks like Norco is trying to offset the weight of the 800wh battery by speccing a fox 36 instead of a 38 like the Vala. Carbon rims and gx axs on the top spec.

    2025 Norco Sight VLT CX

Is anyone else looking considering the Sight VLT CX when it comes out? The specs look great: new cx motor with 800 WH battery, 160/150mm high pivot suspension and only weighs 48 lbs in top spec. Then only thing I'm not excited about is the sizing. Size 4 reach is 497.5, but size 3 is just 472.5.
