My "Walk-Mode" does kind of nothing. Its useless. My Bosch bike has a lot more power in walk mode and I just saw a guy with a Decoy and his has a lot more power too. What gives?
Edit: ah ok, interesting

Not yet - no error codes whatsoever so far. Btw the motor stays surprisingly cool all the time.
Finally got an email from YT Lifka today: after my complaint about the motor rattle he told me to ship my decoy back to germany. I told him I was disappointed because Wilared said specifically...
No man, I told you I feel flex in the chainstays. You told me my bike is broken if so. I told you to test it yourself by pulling on the chainstays with your legs OR shifting uphill. Never said thats my usual gear changing habit ;)
But whatever... god do I love my decoy?! It changed my riding...
Don't know... maybe there is something up with the decoy. its obvious all of us are dealing with a guy named Lifka and he is not responding anymore so... after all the talk from YT how they improved their service...
you guys.. telling me you never change gears uphill? You care about your chains? Really? And if I don't thats poor riding? a chain is nothing else than a wear and tear part as far as I am concerned, so is the chainring and the cassette. Especially on an ebike (3times more wear).
You never been...
Communication before delivery was good and my bike was delivered almost on time. But now it sucks... no response to several aftersales questions. I think something is going on at the moment.
Test it yourself, you will see you can flex it. Or just go into boost mode in a steep incline and change gears.
Just look at the chainstays they are stiff in up/down motion but not designed to handle high lateral loads. We are talking about 70nm + my power.
You really think I am making this up...
No problem at all I am just way more sensitive than you are. Some of my mates trying the decoy can feel it some not.
We are not talking about so much twisting that would cause shifting and I don't need a gauge... I can feel it easily. My capra chainstays are rocksolid (2016 cf pro race with alu...
The cables are just part of the rattle. My main issue is the motor backlash clunking but my bosch streetbike has it too, its just not as prominent on streets as on trails. But I am getting used to it ;)
The other annoying thing is the twisting to the right of the chainstays while changing...
I have a bosch CX performance line pedelec and it is a bit less noisy than my decoy but I wouldnt call the decoy loud. I like the sound and noise would only be an issue if I would be ashamed sitting on an ebike while passing manual bikers... which I am sometimes :ROFLMAO::poop:
I did stuff some...
I prefer the thick alu fatbar (fatbar 35 m158) over the carbon one I have (m135). not in terms of comfort but I just feel safer. that carbon fatbar on my capra... it crackles a lot.
I didn‘t fiddle around much with low and highspeed rebound. I always use an almost open LSC (3 clicks in) and a...
its nothing wild just riding around my local forrest. there are no official trails but still fun. I recorded this to have a comparison with other youtube videos of the Decoy about my noise issues and I think my bike is doing well.
