    What chainring/chain line for 7550

I have the “1st gen” 7550 (all black) and would like to replace my chainring. The E 13 chainring that’s on there works fine but is not available anymore. I wanted to get the E 13 Helix Core chainring or something in the same price range that’s steel but I’m not sure what the chainline should be...

    Replacement charging port cover

Thanks for the feedback guys. I ended up just buying the cover from Crestline. It ended up being $37 shipped. The cool thing was that the shipment was overnight and also included a water bottle and their chain stay protector. I didn’t order either so that was nice of them to include.

    Replacement charging port cover

I have a Crestline 7550 and need a replacement charging port cover. With shipping, it comes out to about $40 if I buy from Crestline. Is that cover proprietary to Crestline or can I find a generic one somewhere else cheaper. I wasn’t able to find anything online.$40 is pretty steep for that...

Bosch Battery reducing assistance w/ 25% charge

Hi all – I have a Crestline 75/50 with the Bosch Race motor. Today I had the 500wh battery, and when it had about 25% charge it reduced power quite a bit. I turned the bike off and on again and it got better, but then got worse again. It did this a couple of times until I gave up and turned...

    Crestline + PowerMore 250

Would you be able to tell me what Troydon said about Adjusting the cradle for a shorter battery? I have a 500w battery and it came with just a 3-D printed spacer attached to the bottom of the battery to fill up the space and hook into the battery holder in the bottom of the frame. Was he talking...

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

Dang, that's going to be an even sicker ride! Do you recall what the weight of the XO1 set up is (cassette, derailleur, shifter, chain, cable/housing)? Or the wheelset weight?

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

Just to give an update, I decided to get the 500wh battery and tested it out on a couple of trails. It's not a night and day difference by any means, but I do notice that the bike feels more lively and fun, especially on flat-ish technical parts of the trail where you have to work to build...

    DH World Cup thread

Seems to be. I just saw this pink bike article that confirms it: Who Can Still Win the 2023 DH World Cup Overall Title at Mont-Sainte-Anne? - Pinkbike. Unless there’s a major mishap (crash, etc), seems like it’s really between Bruni and Vergier.

I think there are no points for the quails and semis this round. So only 250 points left for grabs.

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

Wow, 50lbs with a 40 and 750 battery? How did you manage that?

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

Yeah that’s true. It would be best for people who don’t regularly use up their ebike battery on each ride.

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

I don’t think that would change the handling characteristics of the bike.

50lbs vs 53lbs bike — will it be noticeable?

I haven’t done much research on it, but the new lightweight Giant Trance seems like a great option since it’s pretty light but has full power if/when you want to use it, and you can get a range extender for it. It’s more of a trail bike, so not really comparable with the 75/50, but a great idea...
