I thought about the Canyon... I actually own a Canyon road-bike and dig it. But for an e-bike I wanted dealer support since most of the money is in the battery, motor and integrated electronics things I am not comfortable fussing with myself. I have built enough bikes, trued enough wheels...

Awe shit, hope it gets sorted, especially since we have the same model and probably same batch bike.

Solution--take it to dealer.. which is why buying a specialized e-bike makes sense.. because of the dealer network.

I wouldn't worry. get the foam installed, cover the top side of the lower link with a piece of gaff tape and ride the shit out of it.

My cover has large gaps along the mating surface.. closes well with duct tape but that is not a great fix.. if the 4 screw cover fixes it, should be a warranty.

LOL. I found a piece of duct tape across the gap there the best solution, costs nearly nothing and works well. The other brace by the seatstays is also a pebble shelf and the linkage tries to smash them into the seat-tube.

It has the second.. 51mm offset..

So I tried some homemade fenders and ended up using a piece of duct tape across the gap as the best solution. Anything else either caused tire clearance problems or still allowed pebbles to get in between the frame and the rear end.

I have XO1 eagle on my regular bike and it is wonderful... That said I am extremely happy with the stock GX on the ebike, it shifts fine and direct. The weight savings on an ebike are negligible so I don't feel it worth it. When it wears out I will find a lighter cassette.

Yes it is marked on the chip. Mine came set on high and I have left it as I get enough pedal strikes as it is.. More so cause I want to keep pedaling to keep motor engaged.

Al what is this linkage upgrade????
