    Cable cutters

    Any small hand held bypass style will work for both the steel cable, and the housing. Don't use a dyke style, make sure it is a bypass type. I'd see what Amazon can get to you.

    I ride my E MTB because my fat old ass doesn't pedal my non E MTB uphill very well anymore. Trying to get back to less fat old ass.

    Spot on. When I rode road, I could manage 20MPH for a 60 mile ride, and in a draft pack, make some small runs up to 27MPH. If any regulations are needed, it is to keep the definition of a Class 1, as a pedal assist bike, and everything else is regulated off of trails that are non motorized...
