As you many have read on the other thread, I was told it communicates error codes to specialized via the app. I think if you get an error code then you're probably well advised to uninstall the LCR before firing up the app.
Could well be wrong.
That's pretty much exactly how it was described to me. I can't vouch for its level of sophistication but I think anybody who has tampered might want to revert to original configuration before launching the app.
I suspect the agenda is broader than delivering the best possible service but the...
I just picked my bike up from a warranty job yesterday and the shop had updated the firmware on the TCU. The only mentioned was error logging via the app. So, if you get an error code then fire up the app and the fault will be communicated to Specialized and logged with them. This in turn can...
Actually, I've just realised - I haven't ridden (or therefore washed) the bike since fitting the device, apart from testing up and down the road, so doubtful that moisture is the problem. Hmmm.... More testing needed, will report back with my findings ?
Hi,
If that reply was for me then thanks for the advice. I'll try the above.
I can live with this behaviour if it's predictable, I don't expect miracles from 3rd party devices, especially of this nature, but comforting to know a replacement would be available if it proves a problem.
Thanks again ?
Very similar to my experience. I even ordered a new power harness believing that to be the culprit. I can still power on/off using the TCU switch but disconnect and reconnect of the battery is required to get the bike to power up. I'm now checking the bike doesn't behave like this with the...
Hello,
I'm sure this has been done to death within other coil shock threads but this is a specific question: can anybody running the Ohlins TTX22M shock advise their weight and spring rate? I'm currently experimenting with a 548 and 571 for my weight of 12st (168lbs, 76kg) stood in all my...
I'm 12 stone and seemed to fall between the 548 and 571. I bought the shock with the 548 but sag seemed excessive so I bought the 571 too. Sag is spot on (16mm) but I want to ride with both to make final choice on ride quality.
Have you used the Ohlins calculator, selecting the bike and your...
I haven't got an answer but am interested in doing the same thing. Trouble is I don't know the spec of the existing headset - do you have this info?
I was looking at Hope or maybe a Works Components angle-adjust headset. Or maybe a reach-adjust if available.
Thanks, that's very interesting. I must admit that I've only exhausted the battery once, on a local ride when I first got the bike. I still managed nearly 30 miles and was certainly enjoying the novelty of the higher power modes. Since then I've hit bigger and steeper country and probably used...
