From my experience on my 2108 Levo, you are right at the limit of max range with your set-up. I would suggest monitoring your cadence during your ride and try to run at about 70 - 80 rpm.
Sounds like an interesting project and look forward to hearing more on your progress.
2018 Turbo Levo Comp Carbon now with 1100 miles of riding all over the South Western US. No problems requiring any Specialized warranty. Just brake pads, chain, and replaced stock seat. Bike is solid. I ride at lower assist levels then most but do a lot of climbing. Use dampened cloth and...
I guess I am surprised by your report that your bike only has 170 miles on the clock and your battery reports 20 cycles already. My identical bike has 1000 miles on it and the diagnostic function on the Mission Control App reports 25 charge cycles.
2018 Levo with 504 watt battery. I have just over 1000 miles on it now and dividing odometer miles by total charge cycles, I have been seeing just over 39 miles per charge. I ride mostly in Southern California and my average ride is 15 to 20 miles with 1500 to 2500 feet of total climb. If I am...
"Emtb doesn't get you fit in less time than a regular bike at all."
I find that the way I have my Emtb set up, I frequently see higher average heart rates over a riding session on my Emtb than on the same route riding my pedal bike. I try to alternate my rides between pedal and Emtb.
My experience has been that the power used during the ride has a great deal to do with cadence. The motor delivers more unit power out per unit power in when the rider maintains cadence in the range of 70 to 85 RPM. In my case this is a higher cadence than I typically see on my pedal bike...
