I took it in to the bike shop and after some time and trial and error, they basically said they cleaned all the wiring connections and it fixed the issue. They think some dirt/mud was causing a short somewhere.

Does the newest Rail Gen 4 with the new smart system still have the chattering noise from the motor on downhill rough sections?

Did they fix the clanking noises going down rough terrain on the new bosch system? This alone would get me to upgrade my Rail to the new version. Curious if the new setup is quieter.

Yep that seems to be secure. Maybe it is on the motor side where the problem is

didnt know there was a magnet on a Rail? Where is that?

Has anybody had their Kiox lose connection? My Rail 9.9 Will show the speed... then show (--) and stop power assist, then kick back on again? Anybody have any insight into that?

Would you mind describing the clatter you hear with the Rail or would you point me to a vid of it? I am thinking of buying a Rail 9.7 but am trying to decide if the annoyance of the clatter is a deal breaker. These type of things tend to drive me nuts Thanks!
