New motor is still silent no whine under load. I shared the audio with the bike shop and they got it replaced. It was just out of warranty so I had to pay but specialized did extend a discount. Good luck.

Got the bike back today. Bike is so quiet now. Will try it out this weekend on the trails. $800 it cost to replace the motor!

It's a shame the motor last so few miles before needing an overhaul. Next time I will get the motor rebuilt by ebike motor repair in the US.

0 offset is 49 not 55? I thought the +3 moved the chainring closer to the motor and 0 offset moved it closer to the crank arm. I run a 36t Praxis Ering chainring now. It just clears the frame.

No rubbing of chain guide with good clearance. The extra time it takes to grind down the guide may not be worth it for some. For us that like to make modifications it was nice to make it work.

I have not had any issues with the 36 tooth Praxis chainring. Clearance is good and shifting is excellent. Chainguide mod is not needed IMO.
