    Tampering identification....

The reality is, they will install bluetooth devices and riders will print faraday covers or disconnect bluetooth all together. The fire claim? What a crock of shit(e). Motors/batteries have thermal fuses. What I find amusing is people speed getting to the trails. No call for speed control in...

    Try restarting your phone.

    Battery firmware update 2022

You will need to have the battery updated at some point. If I understand correctly, this update helps battery longevity for those who do not deplete the charge and end up only partially recharging the battery.

    Levo Gen 3 Specialized Layoffs

What happens in a chain LBS depends on what HQ says. I know that to be a Specialized Dealer, you commit to apparel, parts, and so on. And sales drive what you get. Kinda sucks because let's say all you sell are road bikes. Maybe very few mtb. You might not get the nicer model road bikes. Then what?

    Levo Gen 3 Specialized Layoffs

Specialized (and others) are just following the current business trend. More than likely (my opinion) it's an excuse to reduce the payroll--maybe cleanup if you like. And the timing is convenient. Amazon just layed off something like one or two percent of their staff. Even companies like...

    Battery firmware update 2022

I looked to see when BLevo was updated. According to the App Store, the latest version is 3.7.9 and was released in June of 2022. So, technically, it is out of synch with the Specialized app/updates. Anyone think that might have something to do with BLevo's difference in reporting?

    Battery firmware update 2022

I stopped by for the update. I haven't seen any of the issues posted here. Maybe I will need to go through a charge cycle?

    Battery firmware update 2022

It's probably more a question of making sure the complete update is installed. That is always easier with a cable than wireless. If you walked off to the bathroom and lost the connection, you might easily brick your bike. So large updates might be better installed at the LBS for no other reason...

Other Spec can see if derestricted?

Don't forget, BOSCH is big in vehicle control as well. So they have the methods/technology for detecting all sorts of things. What they cannot detect electronically, they might determine through measurement.

It’s official. It’s Christmas and Ebikes sucks.

Lost a friend to that this year.

    deristriction worry

Bosch make ECUs for cars and motorcycles. They are pretty good at identifying things to monitor to ensure their products are not abused or miss-used. I wouldn't be surprised if they upload statistics and serial numbers when the bike is connected to the computer for updates either and if they...

Levo Gen 3 Should i go to LBS for the first update for my new bike?

100% they have more work to do. I turned off the tracking bits as well. No need to gather that.

Levo Gen 3 Should i go to LBS for the first update for my new bike?

Unless it needs a battery update or the OTA app tells you to go to the dealer, I'd just do it. Something I learned recently was that when the app needs to be refreshed, you may get a message indicating the dealer needs to do the update. The message isn't very clear either. If you get an error...

Mission Control RELEASE OF OVER THE AIR UPDATES FOR LEVO / KENEVO GEN 2 BIKES

Be sure the app has been updated as well. Almost forgot, make sure the bike's current software is not too far outdated-you might need to be fairly current for the OTA updates to work.
