    216 x 63 shock bush offset dohickey

That's what I have at the mo, it rides great, just fancied a coil and figured I might as well go longer travel. Wheel is getting built up this week, still not sorted bushes for the 216 x 63 shock. Need to get some verniers to measure the sizes on existing dpx shock.

    216 x 63 shock bush offset dohickey

I've already popped a 160mm airshaft in the forks. Will get the rear wheel built up and get 1 offset bushing to have a play with.

    216 x 63 shock bush offset dohickey

Now then, will be mulleting my rise over the next couple of weeks, got a fox dhx2 on the way but what offset bushes do I need and do you put them in the head (frame end) or tail (clevis end) of the shock, or both? Any info and links to items would be really appreciated. Cheers all Jon

Nice one, will try that when the XT calipers eventually leak.

    replacing brakes

The hopes felt underpowered, wasn't a problem on the analogue bike but didn't feel as good at slowing down the extra weight of the ebike. Had a hairy, slightly out of control descent and swapped them back out immediately. Might have got round it with bleeding, different fluid, different pads...

    replacing brakes

I put hope brakes on my rise for a bit, used a screw to join the existing shimano brake hose to the hope one and pulled it through the frame and swinger no probs. Didn't have to touch the motor. Went back to shimano's a couple of weeks later using the same method, no probs again.

Rise rear brake change hose routing

How do, I cut the head off a small screw and used it to join the 2 hoses together and pull the new one through from the headtube to the rear caliper. No need to drop the motor.
