Hi SD,
I fitted that shock to my Jam2 last year and I have to admit it's absolutely sensational.
One thing to note I did buy bushings that were slightly bigger and have them finely milled down, free of charge by a friend...
I am desperately trying to drop on a second hand set of the matching...
Thanks Jmc,
That's exactly the kind of info I was wanting to know, it gives me a better understanding of what I need to replace etc... Especially as my wheels are boost...
I really like the idea of less gears, I seriously only use half of mine and I'd rather pay 30 quid for a rear mech as...
No luck mate...
Stripped the clutch just now and it's still the same, zero movement forward or back unless I force it...
The clutch was absolutely full of junk and I wonder if the internals have siezed..
I'm just going to order a new rear mech I think for now and look to go 10 speed next...

He is a good lad tbh...
They are done apparently, and he has primed and is going to paint and lacquer them...
Let's hope they fit now ? I'll post pics if they do...
Well he has worked with machining all his career and by his own volition...
"No probs. .2mm is 8 thousands of an inch. I used to work to 1 tenth of a thousand of an inch"
Let's see if he's as good as his words ?
I'll give him the Scarborough warning in the morning ?
Quick update.
So the mounting hardware has arrived today and low and behold it's 25.4mm spot-on.... They only cost me £15 delivered from Germany for both the top and bottom.
Just been trying a few local companies, CNC and grinding, and no one seems to want to have a go at it..
So what are...
I tried to call TFT back yesterday but they are closed, so I will tomorrow...
They only stock the M8 - 22.2mm hardware for the DT.
The M8 bolt on the shock fits through fine, I haven't tried the main part of the hardware yet as when I placed the reduces on each side of the eyelet it was much...
