    Bosch Flow 1.34 features

You need to ensure that you have the updated firmware along with the Flow app 1.34. From there, just record your ride with the Flow app and at the end of your ride, scroll to the bottom and you should see the summary. I've ridden 2 rides and see the summary.

    Bosch Flow 1.34 features

I am incredibly lame, that's what it told me.

    Bosch Flow 1.34 features

I'll answer my own question, shared here in case anyone else is curious: Yes, the new tricks feature does function/record without a display. Clearly, one won't see individual tricks but the summary will appear in the Flow app (whether the metrics are believable or not...). Also can confirm that...

    Bosch Flow 1.34 features

For those of you that have ridden with the "tricks" feature (Flow 1.34), does that actually function if you don't have a display (only the smart controller with a Gen4)? I've seen some posts about this along with Bosche's site but it wasn't clear to me if a display, such as a 400c or purion 400...

    Do you ride all out?

The way I read your post was would I ride at my limit because I'm on the eMTB... In that context, the immediate thought that came to mind was "well, yeah I'm going to ride in my upper limit regardless of eMTB or non-assisted". While on the eMTB I can simply go faster. :) Personally, this is at...

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

Update: After dropping the bike off at my LBS, I've made it into the eMTB+ club with my Gen4. Took a while to get there (apparently there was some back and forth with Trek until the "right" Trek person stepped in). $20USD later and now I wait until the trails dry out so I can give it a whirl...

Shimano EP801 Motor Turning Off mid ride, will only turn back on after plugging into charger

There is a fairly long thread about this same problem, different bikes, here. I struggled with my bike cutting out, sometimes multiple times in a ride, for months prior to giving up and getting rid of the bike. During the time I owned it, I tried different batteries, different wiring cables and...

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

I have a suspicion I'm going through this trouble and it'll be "meh" and I'll just stick with what I currently have. :p

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

In case anyone is following, delete/reinstall of the Flow app had no difference (tried that a few times). Next stop, my LBS sometime next week to have them sort it out. Riding season is still a month (or more) away until the snow melts and the trails dry out so not a big deal -- just a bummer to...

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

I'll give that a try before I run off to the LBS. Worth a shot, thanks!

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

Unfortunately, no. I don't have that option to select eMTB+ for loading to the bike. I also think it strange that it's being fussy.

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

Huh -- not an option for me and am fully up to date firmware-wise. Thanks for verifying that it is possible. I guess it's off to the LBS to do what Trek suggested. Good thing I've got time before the riding season pick up!

Rail (750Wh) Gen4 Rail -- Late fall drive update and eMTB+

I have a Gen4 Rail 9.8. Mid July 2025 (US), there was a firmware update to v16.19.0 (drive unit) . I had thought this would enable the eMTB+ mode based upon other forums and release notes from Bosch, but I didn't see that as an option (yep, understood that the bike can only have 4 modes at a...

TQ range extender shows cracks after a few month. Is this worrysome?

The title says "after a few months", what's the warranty on that? I'd be checking my documentation and exploring replacement options. Not that it's the same, but check out the long, long, long saga of the Canyon Spectral:ON/Torque:ON batteries (here). Those cracks seemed smaller and were...

Important safety note from Canyon: the Spectral:ON CF / CFR and Torque:ON CF models may have damage to the battery

The drive unit cutting out is precisely why I returned it to Canyon. I was fed-up with that and the battery thing enabled the return so that was the route I went (prior to the battery stop-ride, I had tried to return it beyond the return window but Canyon refused; after the battery problems...
