Nice! some good geometry but what is going on with that chain stay!? looks like a modern chain tensioner, I didn't see it being marketed as having variable chainstay length. I bet all those links make it flex. Kona have been around so they know what they are doing.

They mention slack geometry but haven't given any figures yet. It's a good price point though.

If you don’t want to take it to a shop file the new bracket down. Place it on a flat file and do both sides at once. It is aluminium so it is very easy to do gradually and evenly.

You have 180mm rotors, that adapter is for 220mm right? Ask the supplier or take it to a local bike shop if you can’t figure it out.

Well the derailleur max (51T) matches the cassette 50T so it must be out of adjustment. Have you adjusted it yourself, B-tension and limits, or was it they same person who put the washers under the caliper adapters?

is it adjusted correctly though? Otherwise, the offset of the chainring is too great or the cassette is too big for the derailleur. Start with taking the washers out from under the calliper adapter, they shouldn't be there, and look at the part number. Have you got a spec sheet for the bike?

Buy the correct one.

@atlet I am assuming you built this bike yourself or did you buy it complete? You have the wrong caliper spacer for the brake rotor size. Looks like your derailleur needs limit screws adjusting. Which derailleur and cassette are you running?

Mini System Controller I did want to try the new mini remote with the frame-mounted controller. Of course, it would require cutting into the frame, but if someone had enough interest to modify the connectors on the mini controller it could all be wired into the motor before cutting to test it...
